Welcome to Lazy-Yoga! Here, you can take online and in-house classes. In addition, we take you to open-air theater like Tundikhel, the heart of Kathmandu and also to various places in and around Kathmandu for a change. Places like Swayambhu Nath, fondly known as the Monkey Temple, Pashupati Nath, Bouddha Nath, Patan, Bhaktapur, Kirtipur and so on which do not only offer scenic beauties but also are excellent places to practice yoga and meditation. One particular reason to practice there is the good vibes aiding us immensely in our effort.
On demand, we organize workshops, seminars and retreats too
As the home-page states, lazy-yoga is for the lazy, busy, chubby and more. Yes, it is for lazy people who no longer want to be so. You don’t need to feel uncomfortable to admit you are lazy if you really are. Accept it and try to be active if you like. Our motto clearly supports this ------ From lazy to active; hyperactive to active. Obviously, you don’t want to be hyperactive either.
Busy people can benefit from lazy-yoga in the sense it can be short and yet efficient, outcome oriented, tailor-made for them.. For further elaboration, I like to borrow other peoples’ words which are “You just had to be there.” You know what I mean.
Chubby or over-weight persons are able to practice too because lazy-yoga is light, real yoga and you can say, “I am a lazy-yogi” with confidence.
As for the “more,” it includes and is not limited to anyone.
Last but not the least, about the name --- lazy-yoga. Since yoga (yog) is sanskrit word pointing “union” and “lazy” is an English word, you can only find its synonyms in Sanskrit scriptures, namely, Prakrit Yog (Natural Yoga), Sahaj Yog (Spontaneous Yoga), etc. Another noteworthy term related in this context is the Bhusuku, used to denote the Buddhist Maha Siddha Shantideva. You will see and find this term is pretty close to the ‘laziness’ of lazy-yoga.
So much for clarifying and explaining. Still, if you have any questions, your queries are most welcome at lazy-yoga.
Namaste and Peace to All.

Anil Joshi
